What these cover
These terms apply to this website and to the browser extensions published by Parentech.
The apps are provided as they are
Every app is currently free. They are provided without warranty of any kind. We work to make them correct and we fix what we find, but we cannot promise that a blocker will catch every case, that a timer will never miss a second, or that a browser update will not change how something behaves.
Nothing here is a substitute for supervision. A browser extension is a boundary on one browser, on one device. A determined child can use a different browser, a different profile, or a phone. Please treat these tools as help, not as a guarantee.
Your data is yours
We do not hold it. Everything an app records stays in your browser, so there is no account to close and nothing for us to delete on request. Removing an app removes its data with it.
The parent PIN
Where an app uses a PIN, it is stored only as a salted hash. We cannot recover it and neither can you. If it is lost, the way back is to remove and reinstall the app, which clears its data.
Acceptable use
Do not use these apps to monitor an adult without their knowledge and agreement. They are built for a parent setting boundaries on a family device, and that is the only use we support.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the apps after that means the new terms apply.
