Install it on their computer, with them watching
Add Parentech to Chrome, sign in with your Google account, and set a six-digit PIN. Doing it openly matters. This isn't spyware, and pretending otherwise is how trust breaks.

Write the rules the way you say them
Don't build a policy. Start with the two sentences you've repeated most this month. You can add the rest the next time one comes up at dinner.

Run it from your phone, forever after
Open parentech.app on your phone, sign in, change anything. Start the class from the bus. Unlock one site for an hour because Grandma is over. Lock their dashboard from the supermarket.

The two questions everyone asks
“Can't they just uninstall it?”
Every rule change, ending a class early and unblocking a site need your PIN, and the dashboard locks when it closes. The one door outside Parentech's reach is Chrome's own extensions page, so give your child their own account on the computer without admin rights. Then that door is shut too.
“Will you show me what they looked at?”
No, and deliberately. Rules are checked on their machine. We don't receive their history, so we can't hand it to you, leak it, or sell it. What you do get is a class report: minutes on task, minutes away, and which sites were turned away.
